Simple & easy works
I have a client who runs a physiology practice. We had just finished her site and she needed new clients. I suggested we run Google ads but she was hesitant at first. “Physiologists don’t advertise” she said. I suggested she think of it less as adverting and more like paid search placement. We created a small campaign with a few simple and clear ads. Nothing fancy, nothing over the top.
We came up with a budget that was comfortable, a list of key search terms and kept the tagged audience local. With a modest budget we let it run!
A few weeks went by, then I got a message fro my client, “Please call as soon as you can.” I called the first moment I could, “Is everything okay?” I asked. “Can you turn off the advertising?” - she stated, I followed with “Everything okay?” “Yes I’m fully booked and need a vacation, can you please turn the ads off”. I laughed so hard and within minutes had the campaign turned off.
